Brandi is Alliance’s Escrow Assistant for our Driggs, Idaho branch. Brandi assists escrow officers in gathering documents and information for real estate transactions; she loves that the job offers constant opportunities to learn and grow!

When asked whom Brandi admires, she thinks of her mom. She continues, “She was very hard working, positive, and kind.”

When Brandi’s not in the office, you can find her spending time and giving love to her doggies! Brandi illustrates, “My dogs are my life, so I love to do anything with them, whether it’s hiking, fishing, or camping!”

Understanding that her dogs are an important part of her life, it now makes sense why Brandi’s favorite quote is from Bianca Del Rio (winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race season six): “I’ve got bills to pay. I’ve got dogs to put through college.” Brandi explains, “Like I said: dogs are my life. They have short lives, so I want to give them the best of everything while I have them.”

Let’s give a round of applause for our newest employee spotlight, Carlos Vidales!

Carlos is Alliance’s Servicing Title Officer in our Centralized Title Services (CTS) Emerald office located in Boise, Idaho. Carlos helps resolve title issues for a successful closing; he loves that the job never has a dull moment and that every transaction has a different story and different challenges.

Of the Alliance Core Values, “Teamwork” is Carlos’s top pick. He explains, “99% of what I’ve learned over the years on this job has come from others willing to share their knowledge and experience.”

When asked whom Carlos admires, he immediately thinks of his grandfather. He continues, “He was a mild-mannered man with endless good qualities and a lively sense of humor. And he was a Monopoly Shark. That’s where I first heard the expression, ‘cash on the barrelhead’.”

Outside of the office, Carlos enjoys spending time with his family: “This year, my oldest daughter is learning to drive, and my youngest daughter is learning to walk!”

Jackie is Alliance’s Escrow Assistant for our Nampa, Idaho branch; she assists Escrow Officers with their closings! Having joined Alliance in 2015, Jackie continues to enjoy the fast pace and how different each day and transaction is.

Of the Alliance Core Values, “Teamwork” is Jackie’s favorite. She explains, “There is no ‘I’ in teamwork. Not one person can do this job alone – it takes a great team.”

When asked whom she admires, Jackie thinks of her mother. She continues, “My mom is amazing, strong, and an awesome role model!”

Outside of the office, Jackie enjoys spending time with her daughter, Makayla, and her Weimaraner, Lola. She also loves spontaneous road trips with family and friends, as well as scrapbooking the photos that are taken along the way.

Jackie’s favorite quote comes from her grandfather after her high school graduation: “A rolling stone gather no moss.” Jackie explains, “I can still visualize and hear him saying that in the back of my mind when I make important decisions.”

We have a new Alliance Title Employee Spotlight – Becky Loomis!

Becky is a Servicing Title Officer for Alliance’s Centralized Title Services (CTS) and Central Order Processing (COP) teams in Boise, Idaho. Becky’s job description includes: recordings, date downs, searching, examining, supporting escrow closers, and answering lots (and lots!) of title questions.  

Of the Alliance Core Values, “Teamwork” is Becky’s favorite. She explains, “Not one person can do this business alone!”

Becky has been in the title industry for 28 years and has been with Alliance for 14 of those years! Of all of her experience in the field, Becky’s favorite part about her job is forming relationships and being challenged. She continues, “When I was an examiner, I liked the challenge of digging into property and then seeing it all come together from the title side. Today, it is forming those relationships with escrow officers and helping those around me learn the ins and outs of title.”

Outside of the office, Becky loves spending time in the outdoors or finding a new hobby. She’s recently found a new passion for exercising at the local gym with a good friend and coworker! Becky also loves being a Grandma to her 11-month old grandson.

“Better to have it than not need it, than to need it and not have it,” is Becky’s go-to quote. She explains, “I always over pack to go anywhere. From my late husband whom made this a saying to live by, to this day our daughter using and smiling when she recites it. Wonderful memories.”

After having been with Alliance for the past 18 years, the Alliance Title team is extremely thankful and appreciative to have her! Brandi’s favorite part about her work is watching people learn, grow, and become more confident in what they’re doing.

When asked whom she admires, Brandi immediately thinks of her mother. She continues, “I admire my mom! She is such a strong person and is always there to support and lend a helping hand. I strive to be more like her every day.”

Outside of work, Brandi enjoys participating in anything that has to do with being outside and on the water. She also likes to craft, shop, and spend time with friends and family.

Brandi’s favorite quote, “She believed she could, so she did,” is her daily motto – “Believing in myself! I can do hard things and accomplish a lot if I put my mind to it and just do it.”

We have a new Alliance Employee Spotlight in the house – Reana Garcia!

Reana Garcia is Alliance’s Escrow Officer for our Meridian, Idaho branch. Reana facilitates the completion of real estate transactions as an unbiased third party, ensures all details with contract and loan instructions are adhered to, meets with sellers and buyers to obtain the final signatures once a file is ‘ready’, processes the transaction to its finality, and works with other departments such as title and funding in order to complete everything.

With 22 years of escrow experience and 9.5 of those years with Alliance – having Reana on your team is the way to go!

Of Alliance’s Core Values, “Teamwork” is Reana’s favorite. She explains, “You can’t provide any of the other values if you don’t work together to accomplish them. Our Meridian branch (and all of the Treasure Valley) do extremely well with working together to make sure our clients are taken care of as well as taking care of each other.”

When asked whom she admires, Reana thinks of her daughter. She continues, “I raised my daughter in hard times, and she’s proven how resilient and tough she can be. She’s got my spunk, and I know she’ll always keep improving in her life.”

Outside of work, Reana loves to spend time with her family and dog! She also schedules time to follow her passion – fitness. Reana explains, “I love to work out and build strength and endurance. I like to push myself physically to accomplish goals. I am competitive, so I like to join races and competitions that further push me.”

Reana’s favorite quote, “Without struggle there is no progress,” comes from Fedrick Douglass. To Reana, this quote means, “to embrace the struggle if you want to progress and succeed in life.”

Vicki Slekar is Alliance’s Escrow Assistant for our Meridian, Idaho branch. Vicki handles refinances, resale transactions, returns packages to lenders, and organizes files for funding and recording. Vicki has always enjoyed helping make homeowners’ dreams come true and handing them their keys. Vicki illustrates, “The look of joy in their eyes makes it all worth it.”

Vicki has been with us for the past year and a half – and we’re so lucky to have her over 20 years of escrow experience while she lived in Arizona!

Of Alliance’s Core Values, “Teamwork” is Vicki’s favorite. She explains, “I love working with people who are passionate about what they do. When your team is committed to working towards a common goal and helping each other meet it – that’s amazing!”

When asked whom she admires, Vicki thinks of her sister. She continues, “My sister, Catalina, is someone I completely admire. When my brother needed a kidney transplant, she stepped up to save his life. I praise her each and every day for that. Even now, she gives to everyone and anyone that is in need. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know.”

Outside of the office, Vicki enjoys exploring Idaho with her husband. They love hiking, biking, and enjoying the beautiful state that they moved to five years ago.

Vicki doesn’t have a favorite quote – but rather, a favorite reminder she believes in telling the special people in her life whenever possible: “I love you!” she continues, “we never know what tomorrow will bring.”
