Stacy Cairns has been part of the Alliance Title team since 2004, and she has worked in the industry for 25 years (12 years in lending and 13 years in escrow). As the Long Term Specialist in our Long Term Escrow Services (LTES) department in Boise, Idaho, Stacy fulfills a myriad of tasks. She works with attorneys, other title companies, and our branches to setup new long term accounts for servicing and she assists her clients with accessing their online long term accounts. She also handles phone calls from buyers and sellers, processes payments, ensures that all paperwork is compliant with company policies and procedures, facilitates IRS reporting, and makes corrections or adjustments to accounts as needed.
Her favorite part of what she does is the diversity in her work and the service she provides. While some long term accounts are similar, the wide variety of notes and contracts that come through her desk make her feel as though she is always learning and experiencing different things that help teach her and our branches how to be more proactive and aware in providing the best customer service now and in the future.
Teamwork is Stacy’s favorite Alliance Title core value. She explained, “If we help each other, work together, and support each other, we can make each other look good in front of our customers and they in turn will provide us with good reviews within their circles of influence, which makes us successful all the way around.”
When asked who she admires the most, Stacy said, “I admire anyone with a good heart and empathy for their fellow man. It touches my heart to see people doing good deeds for others and trying their best to show respect and kindness towards others or at least striving to be such a person.”
Outside of the office, Stacy loves staying busy. She enjoys going to the movies with her husband of 30 years and traveling every chance she gets. Stacy also likes to draw, volunteer, workout and dance. She said, “I’ve been dancing since 2005, and I am currently with a Boise dance troupe called ‘Cairo Fusion’.” Most of all, Stacy loves to spend her free time with her two grandkids and family.
“Take pride in your work” is Stacy’s favorite saying. She said, “When you show pride in your work, that means you’re doing your best to cross all the t’s and dot all the i’s; like reviewing your paperwork and making sure it’s correctly done the first time so that you don’t have to go over it again, or asking your clients the appropriate questions to avoid having to go back 2 or more times to get the information you need. Doing all of these things reflects pride in your work and people take notice. I’m always trying to put my best foot forward the first time because you don’t get a second chance for that first impression.”
