Our Regional Escrow Services (RES) team was assembled during the height of the real estate owned (REO) boom, bringing together many experienced escrow players; some internally and some from other companies. During the boom, the team developed ways to keep pace with large volumes of real estate transactions by trusting each other to fulfill their part of the escrow process.
Now that the boom has passed, the team focuses on supporting other teams within the company, providing assistance with accounting and data entry in our production database. They also act as a general resource for our branches all while they continue to close REO orders that are still being processed.
This tremendous workload is facilitated by only four individuals: Vice President and Manager Robin Aberasturi, Escrow Officer Hope Darland, Escrow Officer Jananne Keating, and Escrow Assistant Mirt Baldazo. Their combined work experience in the industry equals 99 ½ years! Among the many aspects that distinguish their team is their ability to close residential, commercial and agricultural real estate transactions in all 44 counties in Idaho, and they are experts at establishing customized and consistent transaction flows for our clients.
While they greatly enjoy serving their varied clientele, their favorite customers are first-time homebuyers. Every member of the RES team will say that answering questions and making sure their first home buying experience is filled with good memories is very rewarding. But, giving of their time, expertise and hearts extends beyond their customers.
The RES team is very active in our annual companywide ‘Closing the Hunger Gap’ food drive. Robin said, “Alliance Title has been so generous with contributions to our community. It definitely feels good to participate in filling this specific need. This campaign shows the powerful impact of each individual contribution that makes us better together.”
When they aren’t helping with the food drive, they are giving back to the community in other ways. For example, Mirt donates blood when she can. She’s volunteered for the Giant Slip-n-Slide for the Ronald McDonald House of Charities Idaho, registering participants and handing out gear, as well as directing traffic for the Komen Boise Race for the Cure.
In their spare time, the RES team stays busy with their children, grandchildren, and families. Their other hobbies entail lots of crafting, gardening, music, motorcycles, bicycles, horseback riding and dancing.
The RES team welcomes the opportunity to provide escrow services for your next real estate transaction!
