Home sales in Ada and Canyon County showed no signs of slowing despite rising median home prices and continued constraints on housing inventory, according to the Boise Regional Realtors’ May market report.
The median homes sales price in Ada County rose by 5.9% on a year-over-year basis to $242,400. In April, the median home sales price was $239,000. Inventory for the month was at a 2.2-month supply. Nevertheless, home sales flourished in Ada County as 1,028 homes sold in May. Compared to the same time last year, sales were 13.3% higher.
Canyon County’s median home sales price rose to $162,100 in May. Year-over-year, the median home sales price grew by 12.4% and home sales rose by 12.1%. Housing inventory in Canyon County was at a 2.1-month supply. Read more at http://bit.ly/29yvHLk.
