Since the beginning of our history, Alliance Title has been locally owned and operated. Our roots stem from the Hansberger family whose entrepreneurial spirit and foresight helped to create one of the largest title agencies in the Pacific Northwest.
Robert V. Hansberger became the CEO of Boise Cascade Corporation after the Payette Lumber Co. and Cascade Lumber Co. merged together in 1957. Headquartered in Boise, Idaho, the new manufacturing company specialized in plywood, particleboard, lumber, and other wood products. Hansberger’s business savvy turned Boise Cascade into one of the most alluring conglomerates during the 1960s, and the Boise Cascade brand became well-known throughout the United States. He remained the head of the company until 1972.
In October 21, 1980, Hansberger and his wife Clara, Brent and Carol Lloyd, and Bobbi Smyth formally created Futura Corporation. The new business entity became a family of companies over time that included an aluminum extruded products manufacturer, a sign manufacturer, a 1031 exchange provider, and two large title agencies – Alliance Title & Escrow Corp. and AmeriTitle.
Today, the Hansberger family still calls Boise home. Thanks to their leadership and support, Futura Corporation and Alliance Title continue to thrive in the Boise area and across multiple states.
