Escrow Assistant, Danna Weekes, is located in Alliance Title’s Rexburg, Idaho branch. In June, she will have been part of the Alliance Title team for a year. Danna works closely with Escrow Officers, Jennifer Schernecker and Heather Erickson, and feels they are amazing at what they do. Every day, Danna’s duties entail contacting banks, canal companies, and other businesses to collect information. She also talks to many customers and says the best part is when she makes phone calls to congratulate new homeowners! Because she is a Rexburg native, Danna enjoys visiting with the many people she has known over the years when they sell or buy real estate. She said, “It’s kind of like being paid to visit with all your friends and acquaintances.”
Integrity is Danna’s favorite Alliance Title core value. She explained, “I have a favorite quote: ‘Trust is like an eraser, it gets smaller after every mistake.’ It is so much easier to trust a person when you know that everything they say and do is with integrity.”
Danna’s parents are the people she admires the most. Not only do her parents work in service-oriented professions, they continually devote their lives to giving service to many people. Danna stated, “They have always been a very good example of kindness, and have shown me that working hard brings great rewards in the end.”
Outside of the office, Danna loves spending time with her husband and four daughters. They like to camp and four-wheel, especially at their family’s ranch near Driggs, Idaho. Some of their free time is spent working on the new ground/shop they purchased a year ago, and they look forward to building a new home within the next couple of years. Danna’s other interests include reading and scrapbooking.
‘If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.’ is Danna’s favorite quote. When asked why, she said, “Every hard choice and experience I have had has shaped who I am. I have learned patience, understanding, compassion and how to be proactive. The adoption of my daughters, and having two children with special needs, has been a huge part of this learning experience.” Another life-changing choice Danna made was when she transitioned from the medical profession to start her career path with Alliance Title.
