Real estate analytics provider and property valuation firm, Veros Real Estate Solutions (Veros), released the results of their March VeroFORECAST report. The VeroFORECAST is updated quarterly and provides residential market appreciation forecasts over a 12-month period based on data analysis of “967 counties, 333 metro areas, and 13,549 zip codes.”
The results of the VeroFORECAST report for the 12-month period ending March 1, 2016 projected a greater percentage of residential markets to increase value in the next year due to increasing market strength. Compared to their previous report when they forecasted national appreciation to increase by 2.4% over the next 12 months, Veros increased their national annual appreciation forecast to 3.2%. Veros also anticipates that, in the next 12 months, 86% of the markets they analyze will increase in appreciation.
On a metro area-level, Veros identified the top 25 strongest markets they project to increase in appreciation over the next 12 months. Coeur d’Alene, Idaho ranked number 16 on the list with Veros forecasting the city’s appreciation to rise by 7.5%. To read the full press release, visit http://bit.ly/1NXnig2.
