CoreLogic’s September Home Price Index report for September reflected a small decrease in national home price appreciation from the previous month, but was still greater than the same time last year. Including distressed sales, September home price appreciation declined by 0.1% compared to August. Compared to September 2013, home price appreciation rose by 5.6% marking “the 31st consecutive month of year-over-year home price gains.” CoreLogic projects home prices to increase by 5% between September 2014 and September 2015.
When including distressed sales, Montana’s September home price appreciation increased by 10.0% compared to the same time last year.
