Michelle Turner – Escrow Officer, Meridian, ID

Escrow Officer, Michelle Turner, is located at Alliance Title’s Meridian, Idaho branch and has been with the company for 10 years. As an Escrow Officer, Michelle is responsible for taking instructions from various parties in a real estate transaction including buyers, sellers, agents and lenders. She is also charged with ensuring that each transaction goes smoothly from beginning to end.

What she enjoys most about what she does is the opportunity to learn something new every day. She delights in being the one who congratulates someone on their first-time home purchase and being able to transform something that can be very scary and intimidating to something that is fun and exciting!

Michelle’s favorite Alliance Title core values are trust and respect. She explained, “Without trust and respect, you don’t have a true business that will last. I hope that my clients and my co-workers trust and respect me like I do them.”

When asked who she admires most and why, Michelle said, “I admire everyone that I work with. We all work together so well and it’s so nice to have a team that will step in and help when you need a hand and you can trust them to treat your file as if it’s their own.”

Outside of the office, Michelle’s kids are a huge part of her life. She is very excited that her 5-year-old son will be starting kindergarten and flag football. Because her 1-year-old daughter enjoys spending time outdoors, Michelle finds herself spending more time outdoors, too. Michelle’s other interests include sports and riding horses when time allows. She and her family love storms and, when they see a good one, they will jump in the car to go for a drive in it. Michelle said, “I love the smell of rain!”

“Dance like nobody’s watching, love like you’ve never been hurt, sing like nobody’s listening, and live like it’s heaven on earth” is Michelle’s favorite saying. She stated, “Everything is made better by singing and dancing, whether it’s by me or with my family. Everyone has been hurt before and it’s hard to love when you know you might lose that, but you still need to or else love doesn’t mean anything. I love to sing in the car with my kids. Unfortunately, I have to turn the music up really loudly so that my kids don’t tell me to stop. It makes happy family memories! And live like it’s heaven on earth because your surroundings are only as perfect as you perceive them. So be happy with what you have. Everyone always says heaven is perfect and everyone there is happy. Who doesn’t want that?”
