Vicky Hanson is a Title Officer in Alliance Title’s East Idaho Production Center in Rexburg, Idaho and has nearly 31 years of experience working in the title insurance industry! Vicky worked six years for Land Title & Escrow in Jerome, Idaho prior to joining American Land Title Co. (now Alliance Title & Escrow Corp.) in September 1983. Her responsibilities include production and completion of final title policies, endorsements and any items related to policy production. She also prepares and records reconveyances.
What she enjoys most about what she does is providing exceptional service to her customers and being a witness to the changes in technology in the title industry. Vicky said, “I strive to deliver our final products to the customer as quickly and error free as possible. I really want to make our customers happy. I think our customers are the best! I’ve also watched the title industry progress so much over the years. I’ve advanced from actually developing the microfilm in a darkroom to electronic filing from my desk! Technology is great!”
Service and teamwork are Vicky’s favorite Alliance core values. Vicky feels that providing excellent customer service helps set our company apart from our competitors. She also feels it is important to back up one’s team members to achieve effective teamwork.
Vicky’s husband and her two sons are the people she admires most. She explained, “First, I admire my husband, John. He is so supportive, easy-going and he has put up with me for all these years. I also truly admire my two sons, Joel and Kade, who are both serving in the US Navy. I am extremely proud of them and brag about them excessively! And who wouldn’t respect all the military men and women who devote their lives to our country.”
Outside of the office, Vicky likes to visit her sons and travel everywhere with her husband. When she isn’t travelling, Vicky likes to spend time at home. Her other interests include scrapbooking, stamping and making handmade cards.
“It is what it is” is Vicky’s favorite saying because, she said, “So many times we respond to a situation in a negative way which causes stress and anxiety. If we just accept it as it is, maybe life would be simpler.”
