The Demand Institute Releases Findings Regarding Economic Prosperity in 2,000 Cities

PRnewswire - Report Reveals Wide GapThe Demand Institute, “a non-advocacy, non-profit think tank jointly operated by The Conference Board and Nielsen,” completed a study of the economic prosperity of 2,000 cities across the United States. Using various metrics and collaboration with business professionals and experts, the study investigated the economic health in each community since the Great Recession. Of the most revealing information the study used was housing data which helped The Demand Institute come to seven key conclusions such as, identifying nine different community types, forecasts of home price appreciation in the next few years, and the proportions of housing wealth throughout the cities studied.
