April single-family home sales in Ada County, Idaho were up 7.14% from a year ago according to data from the Intermountain Multiple Listing Service. Existing home sales in April were 1.47% greater than April 2012 and newly constructed homes sales were up by 34.21% over last year. But inventory remains tight in Ada County with what the Ada County Association of Realtors has stated to be a 3 month supply. With demand rising for homes, the median price of a home is at $187,000, an 18.35% jump over last year.
