Boise’s Median List Price is Up, But Inventory is Down released their February 2013 monthly housing summary that analyzes median list price and inventory statistics for 146 Metro Statistical Areas (MSA). Among the MSAs analyzed by was Boise, Idaho. The data reflected a monthly and annual increase to Boise’s median list price, but a monthly and annual decline in listing inventory. Boise’s median list price for February was $169,900, a 0.53% increase over January and a 12.34% increase from February 2012. Total listing inventory was at 2,259 in February, a        -8.06% decline from January and a -13.71% decline from February 2012.

On a national level, the summary showed that the median list price was $189,900, a 1.55% increase over January 2013 and a 1.01% increase over a year ago. While total listing inventories were up 1.15% in a month-over-month comparison, the annual comparison revealed a  -15.97% decrease in listing inventories.
