Incorporated in 1907, Blackfoot, Idaho is home to 11,899 residents based on the 2010 U.S. Census.  County seat to the largest potato growing region in Idaho, Bingham County, Blackfoot is touted as the ‘Potato Capital of the World.’ The climate, soil, and elevation in Bingham County make it the ideal location to grow Idaho’s “Famous Potatoes,” the Russet Burbank, which were discovered by Luther Burbank in 1872. The Idaho Potato Museum, which showcases the history of the potato and “the revolution of the potato industry,” is located in Blackfoot.

Outside of agriculture, Blackfoot offers many types of outdoor recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, and off-roading.  “Blackfoot’s Jensen Grove Lake is adjacent to the city’s golf course, a picturesque course, popular among golfers throughout the region. Also there is a Jensen Grove Park with its two-mile greenbelt path around the lake.” Other attractions include the Eastern Idaho State Fair, the Bingham County Historical Museum, the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center and the Nuart Theatre. Alliance Title’s Blackfoot associates are proud to be involved with their local community. This small office of seven has taken it upon themselves to join multiple local groups. However, joining was not enough for these associates. They currently have two associates that are members of the local Lion’s Club; one currently holds the position of Vice President and the other Secretary.  Another associate will be serving on the board of directors for the Rotary Club in Blackfoot later this year. They also have an associate that is a member of the Blackfoot Elk’s Lodge and is heavily involved in the Demolition Derby, a youth fund raiser, that is held each year during the Eastern Idaho State Fair. Most recently, Alliance Title’s Blackfoot branch manager, Ron Romrell, is serving on the Blackfoot Chamber of Commerce board of directors, a three year position. Finally, this office has been heavily involved in the Relay for Life cancer walk for the past five years. We are delighted to have a group of associates so willing to give of themselves for the betterment of their community!
