CoreLogic released their November 2012 Home Price Index (HPI) report this week revealing that home prices continued to rise nationwide for the ninth consecutive month. Moreover, November’s data indicated that home prices made their greatest increase since May 2006. Including distressed property sales, home prices rose by 7.4% in November 2012 over November 2011. In the same year-over-year comparison, excluding distressed property sales, home prices increased by 6.7%.
Idaho continues to rank in the top five states in the nation with the highest home price appreciation. When including distressed sales, Idaho’s home price appreciation in November increased by 13.8%. Excluding distressed sales, Idaho’s home price appreciation increased by 11.6%. http://bit.ly/VMRG5M
