Vice President and General Manager of Alliance Title & Escrow Corp.’s Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington branches, Bill Hoene, shares his experience on sabbatical:
“The Sabbatical meant several things to me but, mostly, it was a time to “re-charge the engines.” It was really nice to know that I could plan a vacation trip somewhere, return home and still have time off for, perhaps, another trip, a home project, some extra tennis, or just plain relaxing and doing nothing for a while. It was especially nice in the morning to sit on the couch, cup of coffee in hand, tune in the “Today” show and watch the clock tick past 8:00 without a second thought!
It was also a great public relations tool for Alliance Title. When I mentioned to friends and family that I had the month of April off, they, of course, wanted to know why. After explaining the sabbatical program to them the unanimous reaction was, “What a great benefit for your company to offer its employees!”
A very nice experience in every way!”
