Montana and Idaho Included in CoreLogic’s Top 5 States with Highest Appreciation in April

CoreLogic released their April Home Price Index report this month which showed a 2.2% month-over-month increase in national home prices. This increase included distressed home sales. “Excluding distressed sales, prices increased 2.6 percent in April 2012 compared to March 2012, the third month-over-month increase in a row.”

Of the top five states that experienced the highest appreciation in home prices, while including distressed sales, was Montana with a 5.4% increase. In the top five states that experienced the highest appreciation in home prices, excluding distressed home sales, Idaho showed a 5.1% increase in home prices. http://bit.ly/LJJkHG
