Move Inc.’s Top Turnaround Towns Report, released earlier this month, lists 25 metropolitan areas whose housing markets are leading the way towards a general housing recovery. Using “year-over-year comparative data from the first quarters of 2012 and 2011”, the report once again names Boise, Idaho in the top 10, placing the city at number 4. While the experts anticipate national median home prices “to fall another 0.8% for the 12 months ending December 2012 but rise 4.1% in the 12 months after,” CNNMoney.com projects the Boise-Nampa metropolitan area median home prices to increase by 1.6% between the 2nd quarter of 2011 to the 2nd quarter of 2012 and another 9.3% increase from the 2nd quarter of 2012 to the 2nd quarter of 2013.
