RealtyTrac released their 2010 Year-End and Q4 Foreclosure Sales Report on Wednesday indicating “that foreclosure homes accounted for nearly 26 percent of all U.S. residential sales during the year”. The 2010 figure is down 3% for foreclosure sales in 2009, but up by 3% from 2008.
RealtyTrac’s report reflects state specific data for 38 states and includes information such as the number of foreclosure sales, percentage of change from 2009 and 2008, the foreclosure sales percentage of all sales, the average foreclosure sales price, and the average foreclosure discount percentage.
